Three films based on the books of Clive Lewis about the magical land of Narnia were released from 2005 to 2010. Disney and Walden Media dealt with the film adaptation. They managed to do a fairly successful project. This time the story of a fairy-tale world hiding in a wardrobe is recreated by Netflix. The producers of the channel plan to release a series and a full-length film. How far the company will go in the film adaptations of Narnia is unknown, but the stock of books is large (the cycle includes seven stories).

5. “His Dark Materials”, 2019

Girl Lyra lives in a world where science and magic coexist, and every resident has a Damon — an animal that is the embodiment of the soul. The series is based on the eponymous series of books by writer Philip Pullman, and Director Tom Hooper is responsible for the film adaptation. In 2011, his film “the King says!” received four Oscars, so we can expect that the level of the series will not disappoint.
